Since 2014, we have been working with the National Foundation for Educational Research (NFER) on the government's reception baseline initiative. NFER developed the assessment content and approached us to develop the online software to underpin the package.
The system went live in September 2015 and has been used by over 1,800 primary schools in England. Each year we conduct on-site school visits to understand how the system is used. This information is invaluable and informs future developments for each successive year.

Collaboration
We worked carefully with NFER to understand the design of their assessment, and the needs of the teachers and pupils who would use it to create our solution.
User Experience
A usable, teacher-focused tool was one of our top development priorities. We carefully planned the design for the tool from the ground up using wireframing to create a seamless experience.
